What size of hook do you use for your row bag when you are fishing for steelheadThanks bjgj48

If the water is shallow/clear and I am using small roe bags I will use anywhere form a #14-#12 short shank hook, like the Gamakatsu Octopus. If I am fishing deeper, turbid water and I use larger roe bags, I will use between a #10-#8 hook.
