Ultralight fishing for Panfish, Lake Simcoe ON Csf 24 21 04Hey Italo, started fresh water fishing in 2015 and having lots of fun. I’m catching all sorts of pan fish. I use a 1000 size shimano saros and a ultra light 5’6 sellus with a 6lb. mono from shore. Every now and again I also use a shimano 500 symetre. What rod do you use in this video? And anything you can recommend. Thanks. God bless you.

Hi Dennis, glad you are enjoying fishing ultralight for panfish, I love it!! Not just catching them, but eating the larger size ones. Not only are they very tasty, but I feel good about releasing gamefish and enjoying panfish which are usually more plentiful in many lakes.

I had several spinning outfits rigged for that show but the one I used the most was the Rapala F2 (Finessse 2-piece), Ultralight spinning rod matched with a small Rapala spinning reel and loaded with 4 lb. test line.  Not sure if you fish worms/live bait or small artificial. I have done really well using the Lunker City Fin-S-Fish in the 2 1/2″ size fished on a 1/8 oz. Fin-S-Fish Jighead for jumbo perch, slab-crappie and big rock bass. If you have not tried them for panfish you may want to give them a try, they work great!!…God bless you and your family also.
