If it’s a smaller in-land lake that you cannot find a commercially-sold chart, you can contact the Ontario MNR & F and speak to either a Fish & Wildlife Technician or a biologist at the district office near the chosen lake. Ask them for a copy of a Fish & Wildlife depth map of the lake, they should have it.
