ive been fishing for speckled trout in the denbiegh bancroft area ive caught some very nice fish but im finding the lakes im going to are starting to get hit hard...im looking for some new lakes to fish and have no problem travelling through some rough terrain to find them...ive heard of the Quin Lakes north of Plevna do you know of them I live in Belleville On so travelling in the area of Plevna to Bancroft or Mazinaw area is not an issue. Also looking for good Rainbow Trout oppourtunities

Hi Scott…Unfortunately any good trout lakes that have easy access usually gets fished pretty hard. I have fished the Bancroft/Mazinaw area for trout, but that was over 20 yrs. ago. I suggest you contact the Bancroft MNR at, 106 Monck Street, Box 500, K0L 1C0, (613) 332-394, and ask them for the stocking lists of lakes that are tougher to get into….God bless you, Italo
