Italo,Happy New Year! Just wondering what lakes you recommend for catching Pike ice fishing. Perch are biting at Lake Simcoe as always Lake Couchiching usually produces well but looking for a tip :). Your friends,CHRIS + BEN LEUSERHAMILTONPosted on January 6th, 2018
Hi Chris & Ben, thanks for the update on the Simcoe and Couchiching perch fishing. For consistent pike action I would suggest you either fish Little Lake, ON near Orillia, ON (pike are smaller), or go all the way down to Smith’s Bay out of Waupoos, ON (pike average 4-10 lb.). You can jig for them and cut lot’s of holes, or just set-up minnow lines. The TipNJig system works really well for them…God bless you.
