Italo! me and my brother go to Merland Park cottages on Picton bay every early July. Were stumped Italo! we just cant seem to catch anything other than some small panfish and small largemouth bass! we have tried live bait we have tried spinners crankbaits jigs minnow immatations of various colours and cant catch nothing! WE need you help Italo. we rent a boat and fish off the docks. tell me what would be your approach here any advice would be greatly appreciated! ps i have tried the rapala taildancer on the weeds and didnt get nothing! i need help!
Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Max…My big tip is move location to Big Bay on the Bay of Quinte and stay at Baycrest Marina & Lodge on Big Island. There are lot’s of walleye, bass and pike there in July and all you have to do is cast the Rapala Tail Dancer #9 in the “hot-chub” color along the weedlines that grow out from the island shoreline….God bless you, Italo
