I wanted to try some winter rainbow fishing on a Lk. Ontario trib. I am in the east of Toronto. Will there be fish in Duffin’s Creek? How far up from the lake should i fish?

There are some steelhead in the tributaries that have been holding there since the fall and due to our mild weather steelhead in many Lake Ontario tributaries are already starting to make their run.

O

Duffin’s should have fish through the entire “all-year” open season stretch. Some of the fresh-fish should be north & south of the Bayly St. bridge. Salmon or trout roe bags should work well.
