i just recently acquired a 14ft aluminum boat and i would like to get out trolling more. i was just curious how much weight to use on my trolling line since i dont have a downrigger. i would like to try get into the 40-80 ft depths, any tips would be appreciated thx
Posted on February 22nd, 2008Hi Ryan…Depending on the length of lead you use and the action of your lure, you will probably need to run anywhere from a 1-3 oz. weight. I would encourage you to use an in-line, bead-chain keel sinker….God bless you, Italo
