I am in the market for a new or fairly new boat and was wondering what your preference is between 4stroke and the newer 2 stroke engines
Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Rad…If you are a troller, 4-stroke is really the way to go. At trolling speed a 4-stroke can be up to 80% more fuel efficient than a 2-stroke. If you are a “run & gun” fishermen and you like to stop and go alot, either the 4-stroke, or the fuel injected 2-strokes will work fine.
