I am going to Deep river to fish on the Ottawa River. I am wondreing if you ever fished in this area and if you have any suggestions
Posted on October 8th, 2013Hi Barry…I have fished on the Ottawa River, right in front of Deep River, ON and have caught walleye there on the Rapala Shad Rap #7. The best way to locate walleye there is to simply troll the structure break along the shorelines where the water drops from 10-20′ in depth throughout the day. You can also fish a bottom-walking sinker & worm harness in the same areas….God bless you, Italo
