Posted on August 4th, 2016Hi Fisher Girl, early morning I love to fish “twitch baits” on Couchiching like the X-Rap, Shadow Rap and Husky Jerk.
I normally start pretty shallow around any of the limestone ledges or shoals making long casts and twitching aggressively. Works great for both small & largemouth bass. As it gets brighter, I move out deeper and start fishing the thick weed edges with the Rapala Dives To 7 Flat or jigging with the Lunker City SwimFish & Shaker on 1/4 & 3/0 oz. jigheads.
