Hi,I’m looking to upgrade my main fishing rod, and sponsorship bias aside, I would like some recommendations.Helpful info for you….I use spinning reels only.It will be for fishing 1/4- 3/4oz spinnerbaits only, targeting bass.Fishing from a boat with no overhead casting issues. I also have a large vehicle, so it can be 1 or 2 piece. Most fishing will be on the Niagara River, and not around heavy cover or structureLooking to spend between $150-300.I prefer cork handles, but am ok with EVA too. Thanks for the help with this, and for all the help and suggestions you’ve proved through your TV show!- Dan
Posted on March 31st, 2023Hi Dan, thank you for your kind words. I would suggest you look at the Duckett series of spinning rods. Their rods are extremely light, sensitive and strong. I worked with Duckett to create a special “Walleye-series” and I believe the 7′, 1-piece M spinning rod would be perfect for your type of multi-species fishing, https://duckettfishing.com/shop/walleye-series-spinning-rod/ …God bless you.
