Hi there Italo I attended the Dofasco anglers meeting. Ive watch many of your videos online and on TV. It was awesome to be able to hear you share your some of your vast fishing knowledge. I have recently got into fishing within the last few years. Ive completely hooked pun intended. Ive tried to be a sponge and soak up all the knowledge possible. I live in hamilton and tried some carp fishing lately. I found a spot that is filled with carp. Ive seen them jump like crazy and kick up mud. Ive tried all sort of different carp baits but didnt seem to even get a bite Ive tried to narrow it down to see if they werent biting because of weather water temp and set up but cant figure it out. Any suggestions Sorry for the long message. Just wanted to say thank you for all you do.
Posted on April 25th, 2013Hi Anthony…Glad you were able to attend he meeting. I always enjoy speaking at the Club. I have a feeling that it is not your presentation or bait, but the location. The area you are fishing may have a lot of carp activity, but it may not be a “feeding-area”. Our best success in Hamilton Bay is fishing areas where no fish are visible, in water depths form 10-25′, where carp cruise to feed. I would encourage you to experiment fishing different areas with a hard-bottom until you find carp that are feeding…God bless you, Italo
