hi thank you for the answer but my dipsy diver is lock, do you think its because i have a rapala tail dancer 20 feet diving deep which dives pretty fast that its making the diver leveled making it flip? what lure would you recommand and the size when fishing in lake erie for walleye and or salmon trout. thanks a lot for giving me the time
Posted on July 16th, 2008Hi James….The Dipsey Diver should work with crankbaits like the Taildancer. If you are “loading” it properly, check to make sure the weight on the underside has not fallen-off. That would do it also. The Tail Dancer #11 works excellent in Western Lake Erie (Port Rowan to Peele Island trolled in water 50-60\’ deep. A variety of Great Lakes salmon spoons will also work well fished 20-40\’ below the surface….God bless you, Italo
