Hi Italo,Long time fan! Hope you are well. Im heading out to Six Mile Lake this weekend, never fished it. Have you ever fished 6 mile? If so, any idea about water clarity and structure I can look out for for pike? I believe the pike have moved out into slightly deeper water say 10-15 ft. Ill be launching from 6 Mile Lake Marina. Thanks for any help. -sPosted on May 22nd, 2018
Hi Saro, thank you for your kind words. Six Mile Lake has excellent crappie fishing this time of the year and right across from where you will be launching is one of the best weedlines to fish for them with a slip-bobber/ 1/8 oz jig/1-2″ plastic grub. The pike should be along the weedlines in 7-12′ water. You can try twitching for them with a Rapala Husky Jerk and also fishing a 4″ Lunker City Fin-S Fish or Shaker on a 1/4 oz jighead for them. Hope you have an excellent trip…God bless you.
