Hi Italo,I dont have a question but just some info. The walleye fishing is the best i have seen in years in wellers bay, ranging from 2 to 5 lbs.Its just been awsome.I have started to salmon fish and got one almost 25lbs,not marking lots a few.I also got a rainbow and lake trout.Theres good rainbows right know and the salmon are coming in.The waters still to cold i think but warming up.Keep up the good work and might see you on the water.By the way cut bait seems to be the way to go.
Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Briane….IThank you for your encouraging words. I appreciate the update. For the next 5-yrs. there will be a big “boom” in the walleye population in the eastern-end of Lake Ontario, especially with the 4-7 lb. fish. I normally don\’t fish Weller\’s Bay, but I know that the Quinte Walleye go litterally everywhere around Prince Edward County to feed (Brighton Bay, Weller\’s Bay, East & West Lake, Smith\’s & South Bay and even up the St. Lawrence)….God bless you, Italo
