Hi Italo,Can you tell me if the big walleye travel all the way into Big Bay up by Trident Point in mid October, or is it best to find a place to stay on Long Reach and fish there? Thanks ,God Bless.

Hi Russ, the large female Walleye (over 7 lb.), start migrating back from Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River in Sept. where the bigger fish are mostly caught from Hayward Longreach to Adophus Reach. The fish off Trident Point tend to be smaller in size but you can catch some larger ones. The large females move into the Upper Bay (Telegraph Narrows to Trenton, ON), by Nov. Most of my friends targeting trophy Walleye troll in the Picton, ON area out to Lake Ontario in Oct….God bless you.
