Hi Italo,Always been a big fan of yours! Wondering if you’ve fished the Larder Lake/Raven Lake area before. A group of us are going up that way in 2 weeks are looking for some pointers on lures/colours/etc. Never fished up there. We are staying at Raven Lake but are open to fishing any lakes around the area.Appreciate any help you could give.ThanksYvan

Hi Ivan, glad you enjoy our TV shows and YouTube videos. Sounds like you are going to a good location. I will be fishing this coming week 1 1/2 hrs away at Elk Lake Wilderness Resort.  As you know our weather is changing and we are getting cooler days and nights. This will result in colder surface water temperatures and will mostly affect walleye and smallmouth bass by having them move shallower to feed. Pike will move the other way migrating out of the shallower water and feeding off points, mouths of bays and around open water structure like reefs, shoals and islands. I have a feeling you will be able to catch walleye in the 8-12′ range and even shallower early and late in the day. You cannot go wrong fishing jigs/plastic grubs/bait for them. Bass should also move shallower and you should be able to catch them using same technique as for walleye and even on top-water lures. Hope you have a great trip….God bless you.
