Posted on February 28th, 2016Hi Ethan, my favorite ice fishing lure for perch is the Jigging Rapala in size W2 & W3. I remove the bottom treble and change it for a treble that is almost twice the size.
I find that I get much better hook-up on larger perch when they go for the treble. I also add a Luhr Jensen plastic salmon egg in either chartreuse or orange color on the treble hook. I find that when they are attracted to the Jigging Rapala, they get suckered-in on the egg!
