Hi Italo, would fluorocarbon be a good line for “still fishing”? Fishing old school way on the bottom and watching the rod tip. I think it sinks better than mono so it might help when detecting a bite?Posted on June 4th, 2020
Hi Angler, I don’t “still fish” with bait any more but I think you might be right that a Castable fluorocarbon would work well. There is a Sufix Deep Crankin Line that is designed to help crankbaits run deeper without sacrificing line diameter or strength. The high molecular weight of the line allows it to sink faster, take crankbaits down deeper, and keep the lure in the strike zone longer. I think that line would be excellent for your “still fishing”.
