Hi Italo with the up coming election I heard that the Liberals want to cut the fish stocking in Lake Ontario. Is this true or do you know any facts on this
Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Brian…I’m not much into politics and I have not heard anything about stocking plans for Lake Ontario in the future from the Ontario Government. I know NY state does a great job stocking trout and salmon and that they will continue to do so. For the most part, we benefit greatly. I live in the Niagara region and many of the trout & salmon that we catch in Lake Ontario/Niagara River are NY stocked fish….God bless you, Italo
