Posted on July 30th, 2014Hi Adam…..Right now I don’t know when I’ll be fishing Lake Simcoe next. You can catch smallmouth bass all day long fishing most rocky points that go from shore to about 15′ depths. Best lure to use is a 4′ tube fished on either a 1/8 or 1/4 oz. tube jighead and dragged on the bottom. If you plan on using live bait, leeches work really well. You can catch them on topwater like the Rapala X-Pop, but the best is fishing artificials for them near the bottom…..God bless you, Italo
