Hi Italo, what monofilament and pound test would you recommend for inland rainbows when still fishing with an egg sinker rig? Suffix siege or trilene xl or something else? I won’t be using any leaders. Truly thank you!

Hi Dako, I would go with the clear Sufix Siege. It has a little more abrasion resistant than Trilene XL while still maintaining enough “stretch” if the rainbows jump or twist in the line and also pliable enough to give you excellent castability if your reel-spool is filled to within 1/8″ of the rim.
