Hi Italo, what is the best way to rig canned corn on a hook when fishing for stocked rainbows? I was using a small hook but still putting on quite a few kernels today. The guy fishing next to me said I would have better luck if I just put on one kernel. I guess he is right. Thank you!

Hi Angler, he was right. One kernel on a small hook fished at the right depth should get them to take. If you are fishing for carp you can use a “hair-rig” or a long-shank hook and place 4-6 kernels of corn on, but for rainbows one is best…God bless you.
