Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Tristan….Most of the outboard manufacturers produce good quality portable outboards. I would suggest you consider getting a 4-stroke since they are much better on fuel efficiency at low speeds and they are cleaner running and better for the environment. As far as which manufacturer is best, it’s a matter of personal choice. Companies like Honda and Yamaha have been making portable 4-stroke engines for a long time and they both make very reliable products….God bless you, Italo
