Hi Italo, we are thinking of fishing the upper grand near dunnville for pickerel. Do you have any suggestions on lures and depth for this time of year?

Water temperatures are quickly warming up and the Lower Grand River should be in the high 50F or low 60F temps. I would suggest you fish below the Caledonia, ON dam. You can wade fish or from a small boat, kayak or canoe. The walleye should be in the 5-12′ breaks and a good way to catch them is by fishing 1/8-1/4 oz jigheads/3″ soft-plastic grubs like a twister-tail…God bless you.
