Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Chris…As you probably know, I have been using Yamaha 4-stroke outboards for years with excellent results. When I travel throughout the world, and especially in saltwater, Yamaha is the most common outboard I see. All the outboard companies you mention produce an excellent product, but I have more confidence in quality 4-stroke technology from companies that have had many years of experience manufacturing 4-stroke engines for other applications (such as motorcycles, ATV’s, and personal watercrafts)…God bless you, Italo
