Hi Italo, the cold front has just passed through like yesterday and today the sky is clear and the wind from the north. I think fish are not biting much today. Tomorrow they are predicting south west winds and warmer temperatures, this seems like a better day for fishing. What are your thoughts on cold fronts and my analysis :) Thank you!Posted on July 6th, 2018
Hi Dako, fish are definitely affected by sudden drop in temperatures, rising barometric pressure changes (like clear blue skies), and major wind direction changes and intensity. Warm-water fish usually take 2-3 days of stable, seasonal weather to go back to their normal feeding habits.
