Hi Italo sorry to bother you again I just love brook trout fishing anyways my question is my uncle owns a house on a lake with some natural and some stocked brook trout there is a section of the lake that is about 25 feet deep and almost all of the fish are congregated there what would you reccomend using in that situation thanks again god bless you.
Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Josh….It really depends on how big they are and what they normally feed on. If they are smaller (under 1 lb.), I would you suggest you use small lures in the 1/8 oz. size (spinners, spoons, small Rapalas, small hair jigs and jigs/plastic grubs, and flies), and even tip them with a half a worm. If the brook trout are over 1 lb., you can try using minnows and larger lures. Trolling is the best way to locate them and once you find a concentration of feeding fish you can always drift and cast….God bless you, Italo
