I’ve bin sick for several years Now and have not bin able to get out and enjoy the sport like I use to in my younger days. I’ve try’d the adoughus reach area and the narrows but not with much luck. Hi Tim, the best time to fish the Upper Bay (from Deseronto to Belleville, ON) is July & Aug. when the weeds are grown in full. The best way to catch walleye then is to cast a Rapala Tail Dancer #9 in the Hot Chub color (TD9-HC), along the weedlines. Some of the best areas are around Northport Shoal, Trident Point and the weedlines that grown on the north side of Big Island. I did not fish the Bay at all last year and don’t know if I will be back there this coming summer. Best to email me at, info@canadian-sportfishing.com as we get into the spring to see if we make plans to fish there. Hope you are feeling better…God bless you.
