Hi Italo, my kids and I love your show. I’m wondering, where is a good and fairly safe area to fish for Walleye, using a canoe in the Bay of Quinte? Are there any quiet back bays?
Posted on April 7th, 2015In mid summer, one of the best areas to catch walleye in the Bay of Quinte is in the large bay that is just east of Point Anne, ON (off of Hwy.#2/Point Anne Road, east side of Belleville, ON). You can launch the boat at the Point Anne boat launch, paddle about 300 yds, and start casting. Best presentation is to crank the Rapala Tail Dancer #9 in the “hot-chub” color around the weedbeds that you will visually see. Hope you catch some walleye….God bless you, Italo
