Hi Italo, my friend will be taking me to fish the buffalo shoreline for smallmouth and walleye. I will be getting a ny state license and have a conservation ontario license. We will be lauching in Canadian waters. Will I be able to keep 6 walleye(ny state reg) or can I only keep 2 due to conservation license? Thanks

If you will be fishing NY waters, you are under their seasons/limits. If you are fishing Ontario waters, you are under their seasons/limits. So yes, you can keep either limit depending where you catch your fish. Right now, you can literally
hook walleye anywhere since they are roaming and have not schooled up suspended yet in the main lake. Some of the best walleye fishing should be right off Buffalo at the mouth of the Niagara River on the NY side, and also in front of the windmills on the Buffalo side.
