Hi italo love your show with all the rain we have been having this year would you say salmon/trout fishing from piers and river mouths will be picking up soon? I dont have a boat and love salmon fishing and wanted to know if you think with the rain we got last week or so will bring them within casting distance? I live in cambridgeand my closest river is credit/bronte. Thanks God bless you.

Yes, the rains have already drawn some Chinook salmon into the harbors and even into the lower sections of some Lake Ontario tributaries. I have heard reports that they entered some eastern tributaries and also that some have already been spotted at Port Dalhousie below the small dam. I would think that in the next few weeks more salmon will move into the harbor mouths, especially if we get cold fronts and more rain!
