Hi Italo….Ive been bass fishing all summer at port using tube jigs and have done ok but most fish are small. I walk the wall. I was wondering if there are any better places around the area besides queenston If so what would you use there also this time of year. If there isnt are there.any other good methods to use at port that involves using crankbaits and casting Im getting bored of walking the wall….thanks.

Hi Jim…The smallmouth bass will start moving to deeper water very soon and catching them from shorelines will be spotty at any location in the Niagara Region. Your best bet for using crankbaits is after dark, both at Port Dalhousie and Queenston targetting walleye that feed actively when the sun goes down. Good crankbaits to use are the Rapala Tail Dancer in sizes #9 & #11, and the Rapala Dives To 7 Flat….God bless you, Italo
