Hi Dave…Nice to have met you at the meeting and thank you for your kind offer to stay at your park. Some openers the fishing is excellent right at the mouth of the Napanee River, and on the east & north side of Forester Island. This spring should be one of those years since it looks like it will be a late spring and the water will stay colder longer keeping the larger spawning walleye around after opening day. I usually do well for eating-size walleye fishing the first deep hole south of Forester Island in Hayward Longreach fishing from the channel marker down to the red barn that is on the west-shore. I normally slow troll a worm harness on a bottom walking sinker them in 18-25′ of water……God bless you, Italo
