Hi Italo i will be heading up to the muskoka area in a few weekends Aug. 1517 specifically Lake Rosseau in the Minett area. Ive never been to the muskoka area before and i was wondering what can catch in that area as well as ideal bait and lures i should be fishing. thanks for all your help.
Posted on July 31st, 2014Hi Ryan….Your best bet is to target smallmouth bass by either fishing drop-shot rigs & leeches, or a variety of plastic TriggerX Probe Worms near the bottom anywhere there is rocky structure that goes from the shoreline down to about 20′. You can also drag a 4″ tube with either a 1/8 or 1/4 oz. tube jighead along the bottom. Early and late in the day you can have fun fishing a Rapala X-Rap Pop topwater lure in the same areas. Mid-day you may also want to try ‘twitching” the Rapala X-Rap #10…..God bless you, Italo
