Hi Italo, I will be going fishing on the Green River in Washigo in a few weeks. I will be fishing from a boat. Do you have any advise on locations and what types of fish would be good to target? Thanks for your advise.
Posted on July 8th, 2015If you target largemouth bass fish the back of bays that have lot’s of weeds/cover using either weedless plastic frogs or weedless spoons on the surface, Texas-rigged plastic worms, or spinnerbaits around the thicker weeds. For pike “twitch” the Rapala Husky Jerk #14 along the shorelines and further out from the thick weeds. Walleye may be sparse. You can try fishing the deeper sections down to 20′ using a jig/plastic grub or bait. Water conditions will probably be pretty clear, so fishing will be best if it’s overcast.
