Hi Italo i was wondering if channel catfish Toronto harbor and the best spot for them in that area if there not in there what other species are have been fishing it for the 3 weeks and have been skunked each time
Posted on June 24th, 2014Hi Decunha1…..Toronto Harbor is good for pike “twitching” a Rapala Husky Jerk #14 around any of the weedbeds. I have done well fishing right off of the Queens Quey from Spadina to Yonge, casting in-between the docked boats and in the basins where you can visually see the weedbeds. The harbor is not really a channel catfish feeding area. If you want channel catfish you are better off fishing some of the tributary mouths just up from Lake Ontario like the Credit River and Bronte Creek (below/above the QEW with a piece of white sucker meat on the bottom). Best time to target channel catfish is after dark…..God bless you, Italo
