Hi Italo.I was wondering how deep you can fish a weightless senko wacky style. Also would you add weight to it or does that take the natural action away?Thank youJeff

Most anglers fish unweighted soft-plastics anywhere from the surface down to about 15′.

The average depth they are fished at is less than 8′. Obviously the drop rate is slow which is desirable when fish are less active, but if you fish them in deeper water they are tough to get down, especially if there is any wind pushing the boat, or current. Many anglers use a small weighted worm-hook, or they insert a weight inside the soft-plastic to to give it a quicker drop rate.  Adding the weight does not take away from the action, it just gives you a faster drop rate when letting the plastic free-fall.
