Hi Italo I wanted to fish Bay of Quinte for walleye and bass in the next week or so and was wondering if this is a good time. Also appreciate that if you could recommend a boat rental and fishing techniques for the area. God bless you

Hi Ray….This is an excellent time to fish walleye and bas on Big Bay on the Bay of Quinte.  In fact I will be fishing there tomorrow, Tues., & Wed.  I would encourage you to contact http://www.baycrestlodgemarina.com/ , which offer accommodations and boat rentals.  The most important point of this facility is that it is located on Big Island and you can literally start fishing as soon as you reach the end of the weedline right in front of Baycrest.  Best presentations to use is to either cast and retrieve a Rapala Tail Dancer Deep #7 or regular Tail Dancer #9 in “hot-cub” color along the deeper side of the weedlines in 5-10′ of water, or troll with the same lures or a Vibrax #3 spinner/worm just off the weeds…God bless you, Italo
