Hi Italo I tried couple of days ago Catfish creek for channels. Spent all night tried all kind of baits catch nada. So confused a bit is this the creek which mouth is in port Bruce Or I may be too early for channels Best regards Pavel
Posted on April 23rd, 2012Hi Pavel…Right tribuatary, wrong time. The channel catfish run will probably peak there in mid to late May. The smaller Lake Erie, ON tributaries draw channel catfish quite a bit later than the Grand River, Dunneville, ON which starts the first of March. I will probably fish around Port Bruce, ON starting at the end of May for them…God bless you, Italo
