Hi Italo I recently saw the episode in which you were jig fishing the detroit river for walleye. I know that you use braided line for jig fishing and was wondering if it would be beneficial or detrimental to use a fluoro leader
Posted on January 3rd, 2015Hi Rad…For walleye fishing the Detroit River you don’t necessarily need a fluorocarbon leader, but I like to use one just in case. I find that if I jig-fish, using a 10-20 lb. Sufix fluorocarbon leader still gives me a good presentation, it’s clear, and if a fish does inhale the jig, the fluorocarbon leader is very tough. Won’t hurt to use one….God bless you, Italo
