Posted on July 4th, 2014Hi Daniel…..Best bait you can use is a chunk of fresh sucker flesh (1/2-3/4″ think and 1 1/2″ square), fished on a sliding-sinker rig (1/2-1 oz. egg-sinker), fished on the bottom with a #1 or #2 Octopus hook. Channel catfish are very active at night, so fishing after dark will be best….God bless you, Italo
