Hi Italo I love your show and your helpful fishing tips. I am just wondering if you know where I can catch freshwater Drum from shore. I remember 10 years ago I went to Peterbrough for them but forgot where that place was. I like them because they are easy and fun to catch and release. Thanks for your help.
Posted on May 11th, 2009Hi Ed….One of the best places to catch them from shore is in the Grand River below the Dunnville Dam in Dunnville, ON from the end of May and all of June. You can simply fish worms on the bottom for them. The best place to fish there is to go on Grand Island (parking fee), and drive around until you are accross from the town of Dunnville, and fish anywhere along the shore. Dunnville, ON is located near Lake Erie, and is south-east of Hamilton, ON….God bless you, Italo
