Hi Italo, I love your show and get up early each Sat morning to CATCH it. I know it was a weak attempt at humour early on a Saturday morning. HAHA I find your show very informative as you explain exactly what you are using and how to use it. I have a few questions. First, this morning you were using spoons for Pike and I was wondering how you rig it? I didn\’t catch it if you did tell us. Do you you use a swivel or tie directly to the spoon? Secondly, I will be fishing the BOQ this spring and was wondering where to fish and what bait to use for Walleye?
Posted on March 27th, 2015Hi Rob…Thank you for your kind words. When I fish for pike I usually use a www.stringease.com , Titanium Leader that is equipped with a Stringease Locking Snap. If you go to their site, you will see what I mean. When you are heading down to the Bay of Quinte, I would encourge you to fish the Big Bay area by either trolling or casting the Rapala Tail Dancer #9 in the Hot Chub color (TD9HC). It is the best producing crankbait on the Bay for walleye, especially if you can fish it close to the weedlines and inbetween the weedbeds…God bless you, Italo
