Hi Italo, I have always used a tiny split shot and an egg sinker. If I was to replace that egg sinker with a walking sinker would it make any difference? Thank you!
Posted on July 13th, 2016Hi Dako, a walking sinker is designed to be used when you are moving with the boat (drifting or trolling), and you want to keep your bait close to the bottom.
The wire arm that hangs down is good to keep your worm harness or other rig off the bottom. If you are fishing a bottom that does not have a lot of snags an egg sinker/split shot will work OK.
