Hi Italo. Hot spots for Big Bay(bay of quinte) Late May early June? Thanks Sean

Hi Sean…The best time to fish there for walleye is later in June and right through until Aug. In May and early June there is less weed-growth and many of the larger walleye have migrated out of the Bay and back to the St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario. Most of the fish that are residing in the Big Bay area are juvenile walleye raning in size from 14-22″. That early in the season you are better off drifting/trolling the main-Bay basin in water from 12-17\’. All the narrows should hold fish (Massissauga/Telegraph/Hwy.62/Hwy.49 bridges). The area adjacent to the mouth of the Moira River and the Trent River will also attract walleye…God bless you, Italo
