Hi Italo. Hope you are doing well. We plan on fishing Little Lake (Port Severn) this Friday and would appreciate any tips for catching musky, bass and pike ie location, water depth, lure size, type and colour. Weather forecast shows sunny and 19 degrees…Thank you in advance.

Hi Domenic, It’s been a while since I fished Little Lake, Severn, ON. For Largemouth you should continue to fish a shoreline and weedline pattern using slower moving soft-plastics that include Texas rigged 6-7″ plastic worms, wacky-worms or a 3″ paddle-tail swim-bait on a 1/4 oz jig. For pike I would cast a Vibrax #4 spinner along the weeds and over them. Musky should be on “contact-points” and around islands where there’s a rock/weed mix in 10-20′ water. Best to cast a Musky Bucktail for them. I usually go with bright chartreuse blade/body for the fall musky. Hope you have a good trip and that the weather holds…God bless you.
