Hi Dave…Yes, there are walleye in the Welland River. Some have been stocked (smaller fish), and some migrate up from the Upper Niagara River (larger fish). There are two popular boat launches that I know of. One at Chippawa Creek, 84646 Regional Road 45 (Creek Rd.), Wainfleet, which gives you access to the lower river and the RC Brown Park, just past the conservation area at, 480 River Road, Pelham. Most people troll for the walleye with either a medium diving crankbait like the Rapala Dives To Thug, or a Vibrax #3 spinner/worm….God bless you, Italo
