hi italo, can you tell me what kind of spots i should look for when fishing for white bass in a lake ontario tributary? Will they be near the mouth or further upstream by now?

Hi Brad, White Bass migrate into harbors, stream and river mouths every spring as part of their feeding/spawning migration. If it’s a big river like the Niagara or Detroit they will run the entire river. If it’s a small tributary or just a harbor mouth with some current they will only be in the lower section in the vicinity of the main lake.  I would fish very close to where the tributary meets the lake and right in the harbor…God bless you.
